A roof that lasts its rated life needs the deck inspected and repaired, the ice-and-water barrier run correctly at the eaves and valleys, synthetic underlayment across the field, proper step and counter flashing where the roof meets walls and chimneys, and balanced intake and exhaust ventilation.
Skip any one of those and the roof still looks finished on the day the crew leaves. It just fails early — and it usually fails at the flashing, not the field, which is why so many leaks show up around chimneys and dormers on roofs that are only eight or ten years old.

How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single-family homes are one to two days. Larger or steeper roofs, or homes with multiple layers to tear off, can run to three. We will give you the expected schedule in writing before we start.
How much does a new roof cost in Cincinnati?
It depends on square footage, pitch, the number of layers coming off, and the material. Rather than quote a misleading range, we inspect, measure, and give you a written number with options. The estimate is free and there is no obligation.
Can you just go over my existing shingles?
We generally will not. A layover hides deck damage, traps heat, shortens the life of the new shingles, and makes any future repair far more expensive. Full tear-off costs more up front and is cheaper over the life of the roof.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes — a manufacturer warranty on the materials and our own workmanship warranty on the installation, both in writing. Ask to see both documents before you sign with anyone, including us.
How do I know when I need a new roof?
Curling or cupping shingle edges, bald patches where the granules are gone, granules collecting in the gutters, daylight visible in the attic, or any active leak. Age matters too — most three-tab roofs in this area are done between 15 and 20 years.
