Why We Changed Our Name
For years we were Roofing For Troops, and that name did exactly what it said — we roofed houses, and we built the business around serving veterans in this area.
Then customers started asking for more. The roof led to the siding. The siding led to the windows. Somewhere in there we were doing whole kitchens and baths, building decks, and laying floors. The name stopped describing the company.
So in 2026 we became Craftwell Custom Renovations. Nothing else changed. Joe Haskamp still owns it. The same crews show up. The office is still at 27 Water St in Milford, the phone is still (513) 299-7795, and the 4.8-star rating across 276 Google reviews is the same profile it always was.
Roofing For Troops did not disappear either — it became the permanent name of our veteran giveback program, and we have made it bigger than it was when it was the whole company. You can read about that here.

Tell people the truth about their house. If you do not need a roof yet, we will say so. We would rather have the call in three years than the review this week.
Quote the whole job. Our estimates itemise the parts nobody sees — the deck, the underlayment, the flashing, the waterproofing — because that is where cheap quotes hide their savings.
